There are many musical instruments, but not what is the most important instrument.

2. What is the most common musical instrument that people play in your country?
The classical instrument is the guitar.

3. What is an important symbol of your culture?
The symbol of culture is the flag of Mexico, which has an eagle with a snake in its beak

-Does it have a special type of music?
In Mexico much the band is heard.

4. Do you think symbols are important for a country or culture? Why?/ Why not?
Yes, the symbols are very important for a country, because it represents the culture and beliefs.

Special occasion in my life

A special occasion throughout my life was when studying in high school in Ixtapa Jaliscoin Ixtapa Jalisco. In high school I became very good friends. I studied hard but also had lots of fun, and that very special to go to school. I have many memories of joys that happened at this stage of my life I would not trade for anything.

"Day charro"
The day chosen for the celebration was the September 14

-When and why did it begin?
In 1934 was celebrated the first Charro Day in Mexico. It was by decree recognizing those involved the art of horsemanship.

There is no special food like cakes with candles, but there are typical Mexican food like tamales, pozole, enchiladas, tacos and more.

-Do people wear special costumes or masks?
Charros (men and women on horseback) parade through downtown in the morning (from 10am) and wear traditional charro suits jackets, pants and hats decorated beautifully. The horses are also arranged impeccably and were saddled with the best hardware. The festivities continue throughout the day in various rodeo rings, celebrations include bullfights, food and dancing.

-Do you have fireworks in the evenings?
The horses dominate the parade, but there are also floats. At night fireworks are lit to commemorate the day.
-Is music important? What kind of music do people play?
Music is important in the parade. People listen to traditional Mexican music (rancheras songs).

Since childhood my parents have supported me in education and sport. From the eleven years I have gone traveling to many states of the country to compete athletics. I think that so far I have had the opportunity to do what I like and my parents have supported me.
That's why you see I came to study in Monterrey.
